My Favorite Amazon Finds from 2022

We had a lot of ups and downs last year with the arrival of our baby girl at the beginning of the year and the loss of our family dog at the end of the year. Looking over some of my Amazon finds from last year, it really reflected all of those milestones from the year - lots of pregnancy items at the beginning of the year, postpartum and newborn Items, fun things to keep my toddler busy, and cute outfits to keep this mom feeling a little more like a human after having a baby.

Mock Turtleneck Ribbed Sweater
I loved this sweater so much that I actually bought a second one in this light tan color that should be arriving just in time for my birthday! I first bought one in white.
Nylon Crossbody Fanny Pack
I picked this up after seeing it on a friend - love that it’s under $20 and the nylon makes it easy to wipe down if needed. Holds the essentials - phone, cards, keys, chapstick - it has two zipper compartments on the top for the main bag and one side zipper for a smaller pocket.
Flowy Palazzo Pants
I bought these amazing palazzo pants back when I was still newly-postpartum and we had a trip several hours away for my grandmother’s funeral. I knew we were kind of making a long round-trip in one day with two little kids and I wouldn’t have much time to stop and get dressed before we arrived and these pants were perfect for travel! They were so comfy to travel in and still be dressed up when we arrived to the memorial service.
Microfiber Hair Towels
I’ve wanted hair towels like this for years and finally decided to get some this past year - I use them ALL of the time!
Sanuk Yoga Sling Sandals
This was my second pair of Sanuk sandals - my first pair was all-black, but I was ready for another color/style to enjoy this past summer. These are by far the most comfortable sandals that I have ever worn!
Mama Tote Bag
I bought this bag as I was preparing for the arrival of our baby girl early in 2022. This bag was great to pack in my “go bag” for the hospital and bring all of those lovely “extras” home after her birth! Now we use it weekly to haul lots of random kids stuff when they stay with their grandma once a week - things that don’t necessarily need to be packed into their diaper bag and backpack.
Neutral Hair Claw Clips
Finally grabbed some large claw clips for pulling up my hair when I need something different than a messy bun,
Waffle Knit Shacket
This waffle knit shacket is super soft and comfy - shackets were a big hit in 2022 and I wanted to check out the trend and this was a great find. I got it on a lightning deal for an incredible price, which was totally worth it.
Dime Beauty Luminosity Eye Serum
I’ve heard such great feedback about Dime Beauty Co. and I’ve been wanting to find something to help reduce the dark circles under my eyes - I love how lightweight this eye serum is when I put it on! Now I just need to use it regularly to see if it will work for my dark circles!

Library Tote Bag
I bought this bag specifically for hauling our library books for Ollie - this “Out of Print” brand has so many fun designs for adults and kids!
The Best Stain Remover for Baby Clothes
This stain treater has saved so many of our baby clothes from major blowouts and I will never be found without it in our laundry supply! We love this Miss Mouth’s Messy Eater Stain Treater and I promise that you will too.
Toddler Sherpa Slippers
I really love the neutral look of these sherpa slippers for our toddler. They are super easy to slip on and keep on his feet for short playtimes outside on our front porch and sidewalk (because honestly, my boy never wants to keep socks or shoes on his feet!)
Mock Neck Knit Sweater for Babies & Toddlers
This little mock neck knit sweater is perfectly oversized and looks so adorable on my baby girl! They have lots of cute colors available in sizes for babies and toddlers.
Toddler Scavenger Hunt Cards
This little game was “clutch” during my postpartum weeks when I had to entertain my toddler while sitting around and holding the newborn! Highly recommend!
Toddler Air Mattress
This little air mattress was a game changer this summer! I love the raised sides that houses the thinner mattress to keep our toddler from rolling off the bed too easily. We will definitely get lots of years out of this mattress!
Kids Digital Camera
Pretty sure this kids digital camera was easily one of Ollie’s favorite gifts from his birthday - he is always taking pictures now and loves looking through all of the images with us!
Soft Pajama Set for Toddlers
These are seriously the softest pajamas and I love them so much that I just bought a few more pairs for our toddler. They come in so many color options!
Luxury Plush Baby Blanket
When our son was born, I came across this lush mini blanket that I used for his car seat (he was born in the winter). I loved the brand so much that I got another one for my daughter, but since she was born in Spring, I didn’t need the thick plush and went with their lighter bambino blanket in mini. This winter, I decided to get another lush blanket for our girl’s car seat in a slightly larger size and it is the perfect car seat blanket that she will be able to use for years to come! Now I want one in my size…. (they make them, I just need to buy one).

Blink Video Doorbell
I had been wanting a video doorbell for a long time and originally had my eye on a different system, but then found an incredible deal on the Blink system from Amazon that I just couldn’t pass up. I also got an amazing discount on the Blink mini cameras, which double as a chime/alert in our home, and then we came across this no-drill door mount which is perfect for our home since we rent and don’t have an easy way to permanently mount the video doorbell.
Pink Peony Door Wreath
I fell in love with this pink peony door wreath when I found it online and ordered it to add to our front door this Spring before our baby girl arrived. And you all LOVED this wreath this year as well!
Pastel Highlighters
These pastel/neutral highlighters were a huge hit this year! I saw someone using them during a women’s Bible Study this Fall and had to add them to my cart immediately. They are so beautiful and easy to use and they don’t bleed on my thin Bible pages.
Espresso Machine
This was a total splurge this year (although I actually used a gift card, so $$ saved!) and as a former barista, this espresso machine really exceeded my expectations for an at-home espresso machine! It’s been easy to use and navigate and makes a great shot of espresso and steams milk easy enough! Five stars.
Silicone Dish Drying Mat
I bought this to replace my fabric dish drying mats that I had under the dish drying rack beside the sink. I love that this silicone drying mat is super easy to clean and can actually just be thrown in the dishwasher.
Soap Dispenser Set with Bamboo Tray
It took a long time of searching, but I love the look of this soap dispenser set with labels - it’s actually plastic with bamboo accents and a bamboo tray and the price point is hard to pass up.
Wooden Couch Armrest Tray
We upgraded our couch in 2022 and have a nice large sectional, but not much room for a side table next to one side in our small-ish and narrow city home, so this wooden armrest tray was the perfect answer for being able to set a glass down while hanging out on the couch (when the kids aren’t around, haha).
Arched Floor Mirror
This was another purchase that I made using a gift card that I had won and was nice to get a large standing mirror for my office. The one that I got is currently unavailable, but linking a bunch of great arched floor mirror options.
ZorbX Odor Remover
We had a lot of ups and downs in 2022, one of the really difficult parts of the year was the declining health of our dear sweet family dog. This ZorbX really came in handy with lots of clean-ups this year. I actually bought this stuff to originally help get rid of the smell from the particle board of the new couch that was giving me headaches and it’s been incredible. It has absolutely NO smell and really helps to get rid of the smell of whatever you spray it on.
