August was such a fun mix of squeezing in the last bits of summer and getting our family ready for fall! We spent plenty of time camping, swimming, exploring, and enjoying the outdoors, while also starting to settle back into school-year routines. From camping gear and summer essentials that we used all season long to back-to-school organization, kid favorites, and a few cozy finds that already have me dreaming about fall, these are the products we genuinely used and loved throughout August. I hope you discover a few new favorites of your own!
So, grab a cup of coffee or some tea, get comfy, and let’s dive into this month’s favorites!
Favorite Finds from August 2026
GCI Rocker Camping Chair
The best rocking camp chair! I love the bright pink because it’s so easy to spot at the campsite, and it folds up with a built-in carry strap so there’s no bag to mess with. It’s oversized and comfy, with a cup holder, phone pocket, and the smoothest rocking motion.
Bogg Swim Bag
Is it big? Yes. Is it bulky? Sure is. But is she ORGANIZED?! You betcha. 😂 I’ve used this all summer at the beach and pool and customized mine with dividers and pouches exactly how I like it — plus sand and water rinse right out. I’m obsessed with the beige stripe!
FrostBuddy Cup Insulator
I take this thing EVERYWHERE in the summer! It’s perfect for iced coffee, fast-food drinks, and road trips, and it seriously keeps everything cold for hours without watered-down drinks.
Bodysuit Tank
I’ve had this bodysuit for years and still love it! I have it in both black and white, and it paired perfectly with my favorite palazzo pants for an easy summer outfit.
Palazzo Pants
These pants have been in my closet since shortly after I had my daughter, and I still reach for them! They’re lightweight and incredibly comfortable for travel while looking a little more put-together than wearing sweats.
Neighborhood Nook
I’ve wanted a little free library in front of our house for years, and since we rent, I decided this adorable Target Neighborhood Nook was the next best thing! I filled it with books for kids and adults and even added a little spot for stickers and bookmarks.
Bible Cover Crossbody Bag
I’ve had this Bible cover/purse for a few months now and love it more and more! It holds my giant Bible, pens, highlighters, cards, keys, and even papers or my kids’ pickup tags — plus the shoulder strap makes it easy to carry. I have the cream leather with rose gold details and the prettiest magnolia pattern inside.

Glamping Tent
Our first summer of family tent camping has been so much more enjoyable with this 12-person glamping tent! We love the three side rooms, easy color-coded setup, and especially the back room with the netting roof for stargazing when the weather cooperates. It even packs back into its wheeled bag without too much drama!
Blackstone Adventure Grill
This was one of our best camping investments this summer! Having a griddle AND a stove burner in one means fewer things to pack, and the tall griddle sides plus burner for coffee, noodles, and sides make this setup incredibly versatile.
Zippered Mesh Toiletry Bag
These little shower bags were exactly what I needed for camping! They’re mesh so water can drain out, zip completely closed so nothing falls out, and come as a set of two — perfect for splitting between the adults and kids.
Mini Travel Razor
This little Flamingo travel razor is such a good addition to my travel bag! It comes in a tiny case but still has a comfortable grip, two blade options, and even a little shave gel for an easy shave away from home.
Faux Fur X-Band Slippers
These have become my favorite “inside the tent” slippers! They’re easy to slip on and off, help protect my feet from the rocky ground, and are just as cozy for wearing around the house.
Skylight Calendar
Our Skylight Calendar is officially a back-to-school essential! It keeps all of our schedules in one place, and I especially love the routines and task lists that help the kids know what they need to do each day.
Skylight Buddy
Speaking of routines… 😍 The Skylight Buddy has been such a fun new tool for my kids! I love that they can navigate their own routines and tasks, and the built-in timer has been especially helpful for Oliver’s daily reading homework.
Xplora Kids Watches
These GPS watches have given me some extra peace of mind during busy summer outings! Both of my kids are born runners, so having a way to keep track of them at crowded places like amusement parks has been a huge help.
Waterproof Dog Leash
This 30-foot waterproof leash was perfect for Maisy’s first creek adventure! It’s under $20, easy to wipe clean, and gives us plenty of room to practice recall while still keeping her safely connected.
Mini Azul Game
Our new favorite camping game! This version of Azul is small enough to pack easily for a trip but still gives us a fun game to play once we’re settled at the campsite.
Friendship Bracelet Board
My 4-year-old was trying to braid my hair one Sunday, which seemed like the perfect time to introduce her to braiding and friendship bracelets! This little board is perfect for learning basic braids, knots, and patterns.
Foam Play Mat
I’m always tempted to get rid of baby stuff until we suddenly have a little one in the house again! This foldable mat gave us a safe place for my cousin’s baby to play and even came camping with us as extra flooring.
Hally Hair Glitter Shade Stix
Some days just need a little extra sparkle ✨ — and according to my 4-year-old, that means EVERY day! These make it so easy to add glitter to her hair, and they brush on easily and wash out just as easily.
Pumpkin Spice Non-Dairy Creamer
I know it’s still hot outside, but give me a cool morning and a little breeze and I’m READY for pumpkin everything. 🎃 This creamer tastes like the real deal without that bright orange color, and I love that there’s a non-dairy option, too.
Soda Can Covers
Another shoutout for one of my favorite little summer accessories! These covers keep bugs off the top of your drink and provide a much better splash guard than leaving your can completely uncovered — just don’t expect them to be leakproof on a bumpy stroller ride. 🫠
Barriere Kids Multivitamin Sticker
We already love the dairy support patches from Barrière, so I decided to give the kids’ multivitamin patches a try for my very picky eaters. They’re super easy to add to our routine — I put one on at breakfast and take it off at bedtime.
Waterproof Wet Bag
A wet bag is such a simple back-to-school organization trick! We keep a backup outfit for our son tucked inside one so everything stays together and no tiny socks or underwear go wandering around the bottom of his backpack. 😂
Kids Ear Protection
These were a must-have when we took the kids to see the giant Monster Trucks! I love this brand because the kids’ ear protection comes in fun colors, so they’re actually excited to wear them.
Loop Earplugs
These have become an absolute necessity for me — not just for loud events, but for mom life in general. They muffle those super loud noises while still allowing me to hear what’s going on around me, and I love that you get multiple ear tip sizes to find the right fit.
Makeup Bag Set
I love that these makeup bags actually stand up on their own! The interior pockets make it so much easier to keep everything organized, and since it comes with two sizes, I use the second one for my hair supplies.
Graco Harness Booster Seat
We needed an extra car seat for my daughter now that she’s heading back to preschool four mornings a week, and this high-back booster with a 5-point harness was exactly what we needed. She was VERY excited to pick the purple color, even though I would have chosen beige. 😂
Galaxy Projector Light
This little galaxy projector makes bedtime feel a little more magical! 🤩 It was only $15 at Target, and my kids love watching the lights fill up their rooms.
Natural Hair Wax for Kids
This has been my favorite alternative to traditional gel for styling my son’s hair! It gives his hair some hold without feeling quite as stiff or crunchy as traditional gel.
XL Travel Duffel Bag
This is my go-to for quick weekend trips! It packs away easily, is simple to clean, has plenty of room, and even has a separate shoe compartment.
Kavu Belt Bag
My daughter insisted she needed a “purse” on one of our walks, so I grabbed one of my belt bags for her — and somehow it matched her outfit perfectly. 🥹 It’s lightweight, has two pockets, and is also perfect for carrying little treasures!
Puffit Pullover Rain Jacket
This has been such a great lightweight rain jacket for summer and fall! I love the huge hood, tons of pockets, and especially the big front pocket — plus it’s light enough for warmer rainy days but still keeps me comfortable when the temps dip. I love this mocha brown color, but it comes in other colors, too.
Dog Friendly Co Harness
This has become our favorite way to walk Maisy! The harness has been a game changer for our girl who loves to pull, and the bungee leash gives us a little extra give when she gets excited.
Dog Friendly Co Bungee Leash
This has become our favorite way to walk Maisy! The harness has been a game changer for our girl who loves to pull, and the bungee leash gives us a little extra give when she gets excited.
Reversible Boho Blanket
This is one of my favorite blankets that I’ve had for years! It’s a great medium weight — cozy enough for a cool summer evening or sleeping outside, but not so thick that it feels heavy. I love the colorful floral and bird pattern on one side and the creamy background on the other, and my kids love it, too.
