I love LOVE and I always think that Valentine’s Day can be such a fun and special day to love on your people, especially when you are young! I have very fond memories of making “mailboxes” for Valentine’s Day cards in elementary school and loved preparing dozens of cards to give out to classmates and friends. Obviously, my kids are too young for school and passing out Valentine’s Day cards, but I still want to make special memories for them around each Valentine’s Day and remind them of how much they are loved!

Last year I bought my son this adorable “Auntie’s Valentine” shirt - he was going to be hanging out with his Aunt Julie that evening while Eric and I went to meet with our Bible Study group, plus Oliver often got to hang out with his Aunt Julie during the day when I needed some extra childcare while I worked. He was so excited about the shirt and loved showing it off!

I’ve already been browsing for cute shirts for the kids this year - so many stores are already “sold out” of a lot of their Valentine’s Day designs (I’m looking at you, Old Navy!), even though Valentine’s is still a month away. It’s crazy.
