The end of May felt like a time of finding my footing again after a long stretch of sickness, busy schedules, and trying to prepare for summer break. The stomach bug made its way through our house (more than once 🫠), which meant lots of cleaning, lots of cuddles, and a renewed appreciation for products that make mom life a little easier.
As the weather warmed up, I also found myself focusing more on routines that help me feel my best—from getting outside for walks and prioritizing better nutrition to finding small ways to simplify life at home before the kids are home all summer long. This month's favorites include everything from a robot vacmop that has been saving my sanity to a daily greens drink I'm genuinely excited to have each morning, plus some fun finds for kids, organization, summer adventures, and everyday life.
So, grab a cup of coffee or some tea, get comfy, and let’s dive into this month’s favorites!
Favorite Finds from May 2026
Vera Bradley Tote Bag
After letting birthday gift cards sit untouched since January 😅, I finally treated myself to my first Vera Bradley bag! To be honest, most of the brand has never quite been my style, but this tote immediately caught my eye. It's beautiful, practical, and the perfect size for carrying my laptop, planner, and all the random things that seem to accumulate in a mom/work bag. I've been using it as a laptop tote and absolutely love it.
WelleCo Daily Greens
If you've been following along on Instagram, you probably saw the reel of me and the kids mixing up my daily greens this month. I genuinely didn't expect to love these as much as I do. As someone who is very picky about greens powders (if it tastes too healthy, I'm out 😂), the Pineapple & Lime flavor mixed into orange juice has been surprisingly easy to drink. I've been adding it to my breakfast or lunch routine and have noticed feeling more energized and clear-headed. Whether it's perimenopause, mom life, or just life in general, I'll take all the support I can get for brain fog and low energy these days!
Yeedi S20 VacMop Robot
POV: you're a robot vacuum trying to survive two kids, a dog, and snack time. 😂 This vacmop has quickly become one of my favorite home upgrades. It vacuums and mops while I focus on literally anything else, and it's been amazing for staying ahead of crumbs, dust, dog hair, and all the mysterious floor debris that appears in a house with kids. It's definitely a splurge, but after using it for a few weeks, I completely understand why people rave about robot vacuums.
Shark StainStriker
This machine was purchased during a middle-of-the-night stomach bug emergency, and honestly? Zero regrets. It cleaned stains and odors better than I expected and has already earned its place in our house. I especially love the self-cleaning hose feature, and it even helped remove an old stain from my office chair that I had completely given up on. If you have kids, pets, or carpets, this one is worth considering.
Colorful Sick Bins
Not exactly the most glamorous favorite find, but one of the most practical. Every family should have designated sick bins. When the stomach bug hits, no one wants to be searching for a bowl or sacrificing a popcorn bucket from the kitchen. These colorful bins have saved us more than once and are one of those products I'm always thankful to have tucked away when we need them.
Freeze Pop Holders
These freeze pop holders make such a difference for little hands! We used them a ton this month while the kids were under the weather and wanted something cold and soothing. I love that they cover more of the freeze pop than most holders, which means fewer cold fingers and fewer sticky hands. We have both colorful and patterned versions, and they've held up really well.
Pixi In-Shower Steam Facial
I've been trying to be more intentional about skincare this month, and these Pixi products have made it feel easy and approachable. I also appreciate that Pixi includes videos showing exactly how to use their products because as someone who isn't naturally a skincare expert, that extra guidance is incredibly helpful.
This in-shower steam facial feels like such a luxurious little self-care moment.
Pixi Hydrating Milky Mist

I also appreciate that Pixi includes videos showing exactly how to use their products because as someone who isn't naturally a skincare expert, that extra guidance is incredibly helpful.
This Hydrating Milky Mist is perfect to spray on your face daily for a boost of hydration.
Pixi Roll-On DetoxifEYE Serum

I also appreciate that Pixi includes videos showing exactly how to use their products because as someone who isn't naturally a skincare expert, that extra guidance is incredibly helpful.
My favorite has been this DetoxifEYE serum for tired mom eyes.
Anti-Rub Thigh Stick
If you're a dress-and-skirt girl in the summer, this is your sign to grab one of these. The Megababe Thigh Rescue stick has been a staple for me for years. It glides on easily like deodorant and helps prevent uncomfortable chafing on hot days. It's one of those products that isn't glamorous, but once you try it, you'll wonder how you lived without it.
Jonathan Stutzman Books for Kids
One of my favorite memories from this month wasn't a product at all—it was a surprise encounter with one of our favorite children's authors, Jonathan Stutzman! We stumbled into a storytime event during a family scavenger hunt downtown and couldn't believe our luck. My kids already love his Tiny T. Rex books and Llama stories, so getting to meet him in person and have books signed felt incredibly special. The kids talked about meeting a "real life author" for the rest of the day, which made this mama's book-loving heart so happy.
Polybands Elastic Slicer
Girl moms, gather around because this little tool is life-changing. If you've ever struggled to remove those tiny rubber hair elastics without pulling hair, this is the answer. It safely slices through the band without damaging hair, which means no more tears, tangles, or wrestling matches at bedtime. One of those tiny purchases that makes a huge difference.
Apple Slicer
This apple slicer continues to earn its place in my kitchen. Unlike most apple slicers that create large wedges, this one cuts apples into 16 smaller slices that are perfect for kids. The built-in bottom cover makes removing the slices so easy, and it handles even large apples without any issues. We use it constantly for snack time.
Cutting Mat Set
These flexible cutting mats are one of those kitchen tools I reach for almost every day. The non-slip backing keeps them securely in place while chopping, and I love that I can easily bend them to transfer ingredients directly into a pan or bowl. They come in a set of four and take up almost no storage space.
Large Coloring Roll
I grabbed this giant coloring roll for summer break and already know it's going to be a hit. It's a simple, inexpensive way to keep the kids entertained without screens, and I love that multiple kids can color together at the same time. For around $5, this one feels like a major win for summer boredom busters.
Summer Workbooks
I picked up a few summer workbooks for my kids to help bridge the gap between school years, and apparently I wasn't the only one excited about them because they found them and started working in them before school even ended. 😂 My plan is to incorporate a worksheet or two into our mornings this summer as part of our "Mom School" routine—a little bit of learning, a little bit of structure, and hopefully a little less screen time.
Dog Poop Bag Dispenser
Dog owners know that one of the least glamorous parts of pet ownership is cleaning up the yard before mowing day. This magnetic poop bag dispenser has been attached to our rain spout for years, and I finally got around to installing it properly this month. It holds multiple rolls of bags and makes cleanup quick and convenient. Sometimes it's the simplest solutions that make everyday life easier.
Weighted Vest for Walking
One of my goals this summer is to make my daily walks feel a little more intentional. I picked up this weighted vest while it was on sale and have been enjoying adding it to walks with the dog. I chose the 12-pound version, which feels challenging enough to notice but not so heavy that I avoid using it. As I enter my 40s, I'm focusing more on feeling strong, healthy, and confident—and this has been a fun addition to that journey.
Skylight Calendar & Chore Chart
The Skylight Calendar continues to earn a permanent spot in my Favorite Finds lists because it truly changes how our family functions. The routines and chore charts have been especially helpful as we head into summer break. My kids love checking off tasks, earning rewards, and having a visual reminder of what they need to do each day. It's been one of the best tools for creating structure without constant reminders from mom.
Frost Buddy
I will continue to recommend this thing all summer long. Whether it's iced coffee, soda, or sparkling water, my Frost Buddy keeps drinks cold for hours and hours. As someone who regularly forgets where she set down her drink, this means I can come back later and still enjoy it without melted ice watering everything down.
Electric Wine Opener
Okayyyy... this little gadget is way more fun than it has any right to be. 😂 This electric wine opener effortlessly removes corks with the push of a button and honestly makes me feel fancy every time I use it. No struggling, no broken corks, no awkward twisting. Just press a button and let it do the work. For under $16, it's also a fantastic gift idea for anyone who enjoys hosting or unwinding with a glass of wine after a long day.
Those are my favorite finds from May! From practical mom-life problem solvers to a few fun treats for myself and the kids, these are the products that made our days a little easier, a little more organized, and a lot more enjoyable.
