January felt like a true winter reset for our family — snow days at home, cozy nights in, and finally upgrading a few everyday things that have made a noticeable difference in our routines. From a kitchen find that’s been simplifying dinners, to sleep upgrades I wish I had tried sooner, winter essentials we truly used during freezing temps, and a few fun finds that brought extra joy to the kids, this month’s favorites were all about comfort, practicality, and making life feel a little easier during the coldest season.
As always, these are items we’ve been genuinely using and loving — the kind of finds that earn their spot in daily life, not just on a wishlist.
Each month, I round up a mix of must-haves, little luxuries, and game-changing goodies I have been loving for myself, my kids, and our home. Whether it’s a cozy outfit, a genius mom hack, or the perfect seasonal décor, these are the things that made my month a little brighter (and maybe more fun or functional, too!).
So, grab a cup of coffee or some tea, get comfy, and let’s dive into this month’s favorites!
Favorite Finds from January 2026
Electric Multi-Cooker
This electric multi-cooker was on my wishlist for a long time & was finally added to our kitchen this Christmas! It is such a lovely upgrade from a standard slow-cooker. So far I’ve used it for pork carnitas as a slow cooker (I loved being able to set the amount of time that it stayed on slow-cooker and that it automatically moved to “keep warm” when it was done cooking!) We also used it for soup & it was so nice to use the saute feature to cook down the veggies before adding the other soup ingredients and turning it to slow cooker mode for the day. Bonus: the pan not only looks beautiful enough to set on the table for serving, but it’s also oven-proof!
Savor Document Folio
When my husband got his REAL ID this winter, he came home thanking me profusely for making it easy for him to find all of the documents he needed to take with him 🥰 that’s the genius of this folio document folder from Savor - I love love LOVE this organization must-have for any home office!
Coop Premier Pillow
After a LOT of sleep issues (and neck and shoulder pain) over the past few months, I’ve been trying out so many different pillows and finally landed on the best pillow of my life! This is the Coop Premier Pillow - I snagged it from Target (but also available on Amazon) ‘cuz I really wanted it to be delivered same day! 😅 I went with the premier so it’s closest to a down alternative, but also has memory foam inside. It comes with extra “fluff” if you want to adjust to your preference! I am back to getting amazing sleep again and now I want to cry for joy (rather than cry for pain 😂)
Silk Pillowcase
To add to the life-changing pillow update, I am also now using a silk pillowcase (don’t be fooled by the “satin” ones - they are not nearly as soft and luxurious!)
Hooded Puffer Coat
I get compliments on this long puffer coat everywhere that I go in the winter! It’s like wearing a long blanket, and I love it - it has a two-way zipper (which makes it easier to sit down when wearing), and it is also water-resistant, which keeps rain and snow from soaking into the coat.
Mini Hand Warmers
A must-have for these below-freezing temps this past month! These little hand warmers are the mini size and are perfect for both adult hands and little kids as well. They are rechargeable and heat up super quickly in just a few seconds. Lots of colors to choose from.
Puzzle Sorting Trays
These puzzle sorting trays have quickly become one of my favorite things! I’ve enjoyed doing more puzzles this winter and love sorting colors or patterns onto these trays - which is also super helpful when I have such limited space available in our small city home.
Cordless Table Lamp
This little cordless light that I got for camping also works great for lighting a puzzle table! We use this cordless lamp for travel, camping, and also lighting up blanket forts when my daughter insists that she needs more light! 😄 It’s rechargeable and also somewhat waterproof.
Filtered Humidifier
It has been so dry in our house over the winter, but this filtered humidifier makes such a huge difference! We have one in our bedroom and one in our main living area on the first floor. I’m very sensitive to any mold, and I find these work really well with the air filters in the back - which also means we can use regular tap water with them.
Felt Valentine’s Mailbox
I got these super cute felt mailboxes to hang on the doors for my kiddos this season - excited to fill them with encouraging notes for my kids over the next few weeks.
Plush Kids’ Blankets
I got this plush Frozen blanket (on sale for under $10 right now!) for my daughter for Christmas, and apparently not getting a plush blanket for my son as well was a big mistake 🫠 So I let him pick out his own pattern & he went with the Storm Trooper one (less than $15!).
The Book with No Pictures
This is one of my kids’ favorite books - I took it into my daughter’s preschool class this month when I was the mystery reader for class - and this book is always a big hit and gets lots of laughs!
Kids’ Wired Headphones
These headphones were extra helpful this month when for some flexible learning days at home after our big snowstorm - wired headphones are easy to plug into any device. These are under $15 on sale, are easy to use & limits volume so they can’t get too loud. They also have optional cat ears that are detachable.
UnBrush Mini Hairbrush
I seriously can’t say enough good things about this little brush! I didn’t buy the hype originally, but eventually caved and now I can’t imagine ever using a different brush (for me or my daughter!). It glides through knots so well & it’s easy to keep clean. This is the mini version that I use for my kiddo. I have the full-size version for me.
N’Ice Caps Kids’ Mittens
These are some of the best mittens for little kids! My daughter prefers mittens over gloves & I love how long the stretchy sleeve is to stay in her coat - no cold wrists or arms for my kiddos!
Women’s Snow Pants
So many of you were loving my snow pants - I’m very glad that I finally ordered a pair (and that I got them before our recent big snowstorm!). I usually wear a size large, but based on sizing went for XL and am glad I did - they are slightly tight around my thighs, but perfect everywhere else. They are really long, but would have felt too small if I went with my normal size. So just pay extra attention to the sizing chart to get your best size! Love the pocket in the front to keep my phone safe, but also easy to access under the zipper of my coat. Also easy to get on and off with the side zippers.
Plug-In Glass Pendant Lamp
I needed a renter-friendly option for better lighting over our kitchen sink and landed on this beautiful amber-colored glass pendant light that just plugs into any outlet. It is also dimmable, which I love for the cozy vibes in the evening. This listing also included an edison bulb for the lamp.
Wood & Marble Book Ends
I got this beautiful wood & marble set of bookends for our table behind our couch so that I can set out our library books and keep them within easy reach for everyone in the family. I also plan to set out our seasonal books for the kids.
Grace & Stella Eye Masks
I had to play “teacher” this month when the kids were home after a snowstorm, and prepped myself for the craziness with my favorite under-eye masks to help wake me up! These eye masks are super refreshing.
