April felt like such a sweet mix of slowing down and stepping into all the fresh, new rhythms of spring. We celebrated Easter, started reading The Chronicles of Narnia together as a family (which has been so special), and found ourselves spending more time inside with the cold snap at the end of the month, building blanket forts and staying active with our favorite family game console. I also had a few fun moments this month—like a rainy date night that turned into discovering a new favorite board game—and made some simple updates around the house and in my routines that just made everyday life feel a little lighter.
So, grab a cup of coffee or some tea, get comfy, and let’s dive into this month’s favorites!
Favorite Finds from April 2026
The Way of the Wild Flower
This devotional was such a sweet Easter gift from my husband, and I’ve been reaching for it almost daily. I love how each meditation is tied to a specific wildflower—it feels so intentional and grounding, especially in a season where life can feel a little overwhelming. It’s one you can flip through based on what you need in the moment or read straight through, and I truly think it would make the most meaningful Mother’s Day gift.
Azul Tile Board Game
We ended up trying this game during a rainy date night when our plans changed last minute, and it turned out to be such a fun surprise. It definitely took us a minute to understand the rules, but once we got the hang of it, it became this calm, low-key game that was perfect for just the two of us. Plus, it’s honestly such a beautiful game to have out on the table.
Nani Beach Break Swimsuit
I’ll be honest—I’m always a little hesitant trying new swimsuits, but this one completely exceeded my expectations. The fit is so flattering, the material is stretchy and comfortable, and it actually covers in all the right places without feeling frumpy. Between the ribbed texture, adjustable straps, and square neckline, this one is easily at the top of my list for summer.
PetLibro Water Fountain
After another vet visit showed our pup needed to increase her water intake, we decided to give this fountain a try—and honestly, it’s been such a helpful tool. It turns on when she gets close and even tracks how much she’s drinking, which makes it easier to keep an eye on things. It feels a little high-tech for a dog bowl, but definitely worth it if it helps us avoid future health issues.
Nex Playground
We tried some of the family fitness games this month and the kids had an absolute blast—and I was surprised by how much of a workout it actually was! I even tried a Zumba session and, while my dancing skills might not be it 😂, I definitely broke a sweat. It’s such a fun way to get everyone moving together.
Build-a-Board S’mores Edition
I’ve used this board so many times for charcuterie nights, but this month I switched it up and made a s’mores board for our small group and it was a hit. I love that it has a lid, so I can prep everything ahead of time and bring it along easily. It’s one of those pieces I reach for again and again when hosting.
Frost Buddy Cup Insulator
I loved my first one so much that I went back and got a second in this pretty buttercream color. It keeps my drinks cold for hours (seriously, the ice barely melts), and I use it constantly for iced coffee and soda. This is definitely coming with me everywhere this summer.
No-Drip Syrup Dispenser
This is one of those small kitchen upgrades that makes such a big difference. Once you figure out how it works (press the top and it dispenses from the bottom!), there are no more sticky drips running down the side of the bottle. It’s super easy to clean and just makes mornings feel a little less messy.
Chronicles of Narnia Set
We started reading this series with the kids this month, and it has been such a special experience. I couldn’t find my old set anywhere, so I grabbed this one on sale—and it’s absolutely beautiful. We finished The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and jumped right into Prince Caspian, and I already know this will be a series we revisit for years.
Capri Blue Laundry Oil
Laundry is never-ending over here, but this has been such a bright spot in the routine. Just a few drops on a wool dryer ball and everything comes out smelling fresh and clean without being overpowering. It’s a great non-toxic option if you still want your laundry to smell amazing.
Kitsch Shampoo & Conditioner
I’ve been testing out both the repairing and volumizing sets this month, and I’m genuinely impressed. They smell so good (think subtle vanilla and citrus), and they don’t leave that heavy residue that some shampoos do. I love that I could try them out first, and I’ll definitely be switching to the full-size versions.
Striped Knit Cardigan
This cardigan has been one of my go-to layers this month—it’s incredibly soft and cozy without feeling too heavy. Perfect for those cooler spring days when you still need a little extra warmth. It wasn’t on sale when I bought it, but totally worth it.
Soda Can Cooler & Lid
As someone who takes forever to finish a drink, this has been such a good find 😂 it keeps my soda cold so much longer, and I love that I found matching lids to go with it. Such a simple upgrade, but one I use all the time.
KiwiCo Koala Crate
My daughter got her first Koala Crate this month and was SO excited to open it. The theme was all about the body, and she loved getting to do a little sewing project and build something she could actually play with after. These kits are so thoughtfully designed and perfect for her age.
Tote-a-Fort Blanket Kit
We are fully in our fort-building era over here, and this has made it so much easier (and less frustrating for everyone 😅). The velcro, lightweight fabric, and weighted pieces help everything stay in place so much better. Definitely a win for creative play.
Loop Dream Earplugs
These have been such a game changer for my sleep 🙃 they’re small, soft, and comfortable enough to wear all night, and they really help take the edge off background noise. If you struggle with light sleep, these are worth trying.
Counter Culture Coffee
This has been our go-to coffee for years, and I still love it just as much as I did when I worked with it in a local coffee shop. We have had a subscription of two bags of single-origin coffee from Counter Culture for the entire time we’ve been married (and it will be 10 years this fall!). The Field Trip blend was a quick grab from Wegmans (we went through more coffee than normal this month and had a gap of a few days before our subscription arrived!). It’s just one of those little everyday favorites that makes mornings better.
These monthly Favorite Finds posts are always one of my favorite ways to look back on the little things that made life feel easier, brighter, or just more fun during the month. I hope a few of these favorites inspire something helpful or joyful for your own home and family this spring.
