This month included some favorite finds for Valentine’s Day, but mostly has been about getting some spaces in our house ready for Baby Girl’s arrival at the end of March! I moved my vanity from our bedroom to spare room that serves as a walk-in closet, started to move some baby items that we already own into a corner of our bedroom, and our new sectional couch arrived and got put together in our living room! I’ll be sharing more about our new couch and our baby nursery corner in our room in future posts.

My Favorite Finds from February 2022

Mom Mode Sweatshirt

I’ve been living in this sweatshirt - I love that it’s not too thick and yet is still super comfy. It also fits nicely over my baby bump!

32 oz Water Tumbler

I’m not great at drinking water. It’s a bags habit. But I’m trying to be intentional with keeping this water tumbler filled with water and keeping it near me wherever I go in the house to stay hydrated. Reminds me of the giant plastic cups that they give you in the hospital after you give birth.

Cream Vanity Stool

I love this cream vanity stool and it is perfect for my vanity! I can’t believe that it took me so long to get a stool for my vanity desk. I originally found this stool on Target’s website, but it was more than I wanted to spend. After some searching, I found it for an even better price on Amazon!

Vanity Mirror LED Light Strip

My vanity is very makeshift and consists of an old desk that I found for cheap at a thrift store and painted, plus a giant mirror that I found for free on the side of the road. A few years ago, I added some bulb string lights around the mirror for some extra light, but once I moved the vanity, I wanted to find something a bit more permanent for the mirror. I love this LED light strip that was easy to install around the perimeter of the mirror!

Cream Shag Rug

When we decided to update our living room and add a large custom sectional couch, I knew we would also need a larger rug for the space. I wanted something that would keep the space light and feel more plush and comfy and this cream shag rug was perfect and I was able to buy it during a great sale!

Ted Lasso Mug

I bought this mug for my husband as a Valentine’s gift this year - something that he can keep at the office. While I got this as a Valentine’s gift, it certainly can be used year round. Funny story - when my husband first opened the gift he only saw the side with the sign that says “Believe” and didn’t even notice the Ted Lasso on the other side. 😂

Dual Compartment Trash & Recycle Bin

Our previous trash can was a simple plastic trash can with a lid that locked - it worked well until the piece to lock it broke. While it was still usable, I was ready for an update and decided on this one with a dual compartment so that we can put our recyclables somewhere convenient until we take them outside. This lid is heavy but it has a “slow close” which I find to be really nice so far!

Pregnancy Pillow

This pillow is not new to me this month, but it has been used a LOT recently. I love this C-shape and this color is currently on sale for a great price on Amazon!

Wooden Train Track Expansion Set

Oliver found his wooden trains and tracks again recently and was really enjoying building some track designs, so I found a set of extra track pieces for him to get a bit more creative.

Spray, Squirt & Squeegee Play Cleaning Set

My sister got this cleaning set for our son around Christmas and just this month, he has started to enjoy playing with it. My mom even showed him how to clean the windows with the spray bottle, squeegee and cloth. I’m a big fan!

Dust, Sweep & Mop Play Cleaning Set

Another great cleaning toy that our son has taken an interest to this month! He’s been sweeping the floors every couple of days and I don’t dare tell him it’s work and not play 😅

Auntie’s Valentine Toddler Shirt

I know that Valentine’s day has past, but we got this adorable shirt for our son to wear on his “date night” with his Auntie (she was watching him while we went to Bible Study with our small group). Sharing because this business on Etsy has lots of other ADORABLE shirt designs!

Sposie Diaper Pads

Not as exciting, but definitely a necessity this month! After lots of nights of leaky diapers and washing bed sheets, I finally decided to try out these Sposie pads that I’ve heard a lot about! They just stick on inside of his normal nighttime diaper and help to hold lots of extra wetness all night long. I think it has also helped my son to be less interested in (or less quick to) pull off his diaper in the middle of the night when it would get “too wet” - so a major win for us!
