I can’t believe how fast April seemed to fly by! Our sweet Ainsley girl was born on March 29, so all of April feels somewhat like a blur… but in the best way! We have loved getting to know our sweet little lady and adjust to being a family of four. I think I easily could have filled this post with all things postpartum and newborn, but I tried to keep some of my favorites from this month a bit more broad and approachable. There are a few favorites that showed up in Oliver’s Easter basket this year, some comfort items for my tired mama feet, and some newborn necessities.

My Favorite Finds from April 2022

Sanuk Yoga Slides

I’ve been on the hunt for an extremely comfortable “summer slipper” and this has by far been the best thing I have found! It’s not technically a slipper, but the yoga mat footbed is so comfortable that I’m just wearing them around the house as a slipper to give my foot more cushion.

Sanuk Yoga Sling Sandals

This is now my third pair of Sanuk sandals - love this print and color! You’ll see me wearing these all of the time this summer!

Mama Stoneware Travel Mug

I’ve been using this travel mug almost daily for my coffee fix every morning. It still feels like having a regular cup of coffee, but having a lid is helpful for potential spills and keeps my coffee a bit warmer for a bit longer.

‘Mama Needs More Coffee’ Mug

Celebrated becoming a mother of two with this beautiful (and very true) statement coffee mug from Target.

Microfiber Hair Towels

I’ve been wanting some of these hair towel wraps for a long time and finally decided to take the plunge and just get a set of them. Super convenient for this busy mom who barely gets a chance to shower, let alone try to dry my hair or mess with a heavy towel always falling off my head!

Shoe Sizer Foot Measurement Tool

I wish I would have gotten one of these a long time ago for knowing what size shoes to get my toddler!

KIND Protein Bars

This is my current favorite snack - especially during those times that I am feeding the baby and can’t really get up from the rocking chair! A perfect balance of salty and sweet and packed with protein.

Messy Eater Stain Treater

I’ve seen this stain remover all over TikTok and decided to give it a try! It really does a great job on those messy baby-poop stains. Highly recommend!

Tubby Todd All Over Ointment

This is one of my all-time favorite baby products and I consider it a newborn necessity. Right now we are getting lots of use out of this jar of ointment to help get rid of that newborn acne that keeps showing up on our sweet little one’s skin, or for her dry hands and feet after bath times.

Hatch Baby Grow Smart Changing Pad and Scale

I bought this smart scale changing pad back when Oliver was a newborn and he and I were struggling with nursing (and pumping) and he wasn’t gaining great weight. I just wanted the peace of mind to know how much he was actually eating during our feeding sessions. I have used it only a few times recently to see how Ainsley is feeding or just to check her weight - she is clearly getting lots of eat and is growing like a weed!

Soft Braided Pacifier Clip

These soft braided pacifier clips were my favorite when Oliver was a baby - so I purchased two more in some sweet colors for our little girl. I love that they are nice and stretchy, but super soft and I don’t have to worry about any color bleeding onto her skin or clothes if it happens to get wet.

Waffle Knit Hair Bows for Baby

One of my best friends sent us this set of hair bows and they are just the sweetest little bows! They aren’t too big or oversized and they have a nice soft and stretchy hair band that isn’t too tight on her head. They are easily a favorite and I reach for one of these bows all of the time!

Match it UP! Trucks Game

I got this game for Oliver’s Easter basket and it has been a huge hit!! While he is still working on the concept of only picking one card to try and find a match, he loves matching up all of the types of construction vehicles and naming them, or picking out the matching colors! When he is older, I’m sure he will also enjoy trying to figure out the puzzle on the other side of the pieces.

Toddler Scavenger Hunt At Home Cards

I also added this to Ollie’s Easter basket this year for a fun game that we could play together even if I was stuck nursing a baby on the couch and couldn’t get up to play with Ollie. This simple game is definitely a lot of fun!
