12 Days of Birthday Gifts

It’s birthday month! That’s right - I said birthday month. I love celebrating my birthday in lots of ways all month long and I’m going to take full advantage whenever I can.
The beginning of the month started off strong with a girlfriend’s trip to sunny Florida for a weekend before my birthday. Also, my super sweet husband decided to surprise me on January 1st with The 12 Days of Birthday Gifts! It worked out so nicely that my birthday lands on the 12th, so each night from the 1st to the 12th, I got to open a new small gift for my birthday. What a sweet idea! There is one large Christmas/Birthday combo gift that will be arriving in another month or so, but the rest of the gifts were small, yet meaningful!
I’m going to share with you the gifts that I received and what I love most about each of them! I hope these gifts give you some great ideas for birthday gifts for women.
The 12 Days of Birthday Gifts
Adore Me Open Back Ribbon Pajama Set
My husband hit a home run with this new pajama set! They are extremely soft and cozy and while they are not maternity-specific, he sized up (ordered a Large) and it flows nicely over my baby bump, with a nice cinched waist at the bottom of the pajama top (without being tight). I was curious about the ribbon at the back, but I haven’t noticed it at all while sleeping, as long as it is tied with long loops so that the ends aren’t too long to get stuck when I roll over. 🎀 Totally love this pajama set and would highly recommend it to anyone! Plus, it comes in a few other color options.
Enegon 2-Pack Portable Chargers
I’m not sure how I’ve gone for so long without a portable charger, so this was a great gift that I didn’t even know that I needed! It’s nice and slim like a phone, so it’s easy to pack and carry with me. Bonus: my husband didn’t realize that this was a set of two chargers, so he actually got one to keep for himself! 😅
Frank Body Coffee Scrub + Shower Pouf
I’ve been wanting to try this coffee body scrub for a while, so this was an exciting gift to open! I tried out this exfoliating scrub before my trip to Florida the other weekend and my legs felt SO soft. Just beware - if you use this in a bath, you will have coffee ground floating around and will end up sitting in lukewarm coffee water! 🤪 Haha. But it’s totally worth it.
Undated Weekly Family Planner Notepad
I had this family planner notepad on my Christmas wishlist and was excited to get it for one of my birthday gifts! I’ve bought several of their products and love every notepad that I have, so you really can’t go wrong with any of the items from Bliss Collections! 💕
Maternity-Friendly Underwear
One of my stocking stuffer requests this year was some maternity underwear (I had just recently found out this was even a thing! Who knew?!) So my sweet husband found a few maternity-friendly high-waisted options or ones that were made specifically for maternity and fitting the baby bump. 🤰🏻
imPRESS Press-on Manicure in Light Peach Matte and Gold Sparkles
These are my FAVORITE press-on nails and I had this specific set on my wishlist for Christmas or my birthday. I really love the matte peach nail mixed with the sparkling gold accent. They were perfect for my beach trip with my girlfriends and for celebrating my birthday in style! I’m a huge fan and even have an entire blog post sharing my thoughts on these press-on nails and some tips for making them last longer! 💅🏼
Super Soft Boot Socks
These socks are SO soft and cozy! I was in need of a few new pairs this winter season and my feet have been so happy with this super soft set of socks.
Sharpie Pens + Markers
Does anyone else get excited about having a really good pen?? I’m excited to try these Sharpie Gel Pens! And having some more Sharpie markers on hand is never a bad thing - as long as I can remember where I put them. 🤦🏻♀️
Universal Thread Winter Headband Ear Warmers + Mittens
This gift couldn’t have come at a better time! It has been brutally cold this week leading up to my birthday and I opened this gift the night before the temperature dropped like crazy and I had some errands to run that day. ❄️ I was so thankful to have these ear warmers and the mittens for this winter season. The headband is super thick and comfortable and works great with the messy mom bun.
Comfort and Joy Tea by The Republic of Tea
This is my absolute favorite holiday tea and I love drinking it all winter long! I love that my husband recognized that I was going to need some more and would want some to last me through the cold months until next year! This tea is often exclusive to the holiday months, so I can’t necessarily buy it year-round and love to have enough on hand to be ready to go when the next winter season rolls around.

Turns out, there is still one gift in transit that hasn’t arrived yet - so while I’m not opening a gift this night, it’s exciting to know that there’s one more on the way! I’ll be updating this section once I get to open the gift.
Custom Modular Sectional by Home Reserve
This was my BIG gift this year! It’s a combo gift for Christmas, my birthday, and shoot - let’s just call it a “push present” for the new baby coming soon! I’ve been wanting a new couch for our living area so that we can have some increased seating and after lots of research, this custom modular sectional couch from Home Reserve was the winner. I love that the fabric will be water-repellant and is also machine washable (both are a must-have with young kids jumping all around the house). Our new couch should be arriving sometime in February, with plenty of time to get used to it leading up to our baby girl’s arrival in April and I plan to share all of my thoughts in a separate blog post after I can fully test it out and share my honest thoughts!
Birthday Gifts that I Bought for Myself…
There are just a few other things that I bought for myself for my birthday - let’s be honest, I’m not the only one who buys birthday gifts for myself! Haha. Really, these were items that were bought with some Christmas money, but they kind of count as my own birthday gifts, so I wanted to share what those were!
Orolay Women’s Thickened Down Jacket / aka “The Amazon Coat”
This coat has been dubbed “The Amazon Coat” and has been popular for a few years - but I only recently learned about it from someone else that I follow on Instagram. Once she mentioned that it was bump-friendly for the maternity stage with the side zippers, I was sold! My current winter coat was not able to be zipped up and was stretching at the seams with my growing baby belly, so I was looking for a maternity-friendly winter coat that I can still wear other years when I’m no longer pregnant!
Maternity Underwear from Old Navy
I know that my husband bought me some “cute” underwear that is maternity-friendly, but I really wanted to try these “comfy” maternity underwear from Old Navy! How did I not know that maternity underwear was a thing for my first pregnancy?! 🤯 So far, I love the pair that I tried and how it comes up high enough to cover part of my baby belly.
Fleece-Lined Maternity Leggings from Old Navy
I love the CozeCore line of leggings from Old Navy and recently got one pair for Christmas (that was not maternity-specific), so I decided to order one of their pairs of maternity leggings. I love the fleece-lined leggings and the thickness for these winter months, when I definitely don’t want to be wearing cold jeans anywhere if I can help it! I ordered a size Medium in the maternity leggings and they feel way too tight, which is unfortunate! The non-maternity leggings that I have in size Medium actually fit me more comfortably. I’m planning to exchange the leggings to get a size Large in maternity and will report back once they arrive!
