it’s eric’s birthday!

if you get a chance, make sure to wish eric a happy birthday! we had a low-key celebration for him today with lunch at home after church and made sure that he got to enjoy a nap! (Sunday naps are one of his favorite things)

trick or treat!

we got both kids dressed up to enjoy some free trick-or-treat events this weekend. this feels like the first time since Oliver was born that we were able to do a “normal” trick or treat year with him being old enough to understand and enjoy the dressing up and going around for candy!

Drop-Shoulder V-Neck Sweater

I got this sweater in a Wantable style edit this week and fell in love with it right away! It’s super flattering and a great color for fall/winter. A little bit of a splurge, but I got a good price through Wantable and will be wearing it over and over!

Mocassin Slippers

These slippers were a gift to me from a client a few years ago and I love breaking them out around this time of year! They are great as a house slipper but also convenient for stepping out of the house since they have a hard sole.

Pura Smart Diffuser

After several years of eyeing this up, I finally decided to grab one for our house - love that it is safe for kids and pets and I don’t have to worry about an open flame of a candle getting knocked over. I also love that I can set the intensity of the scent and even create a schedule for when it comes on. Right now I have a pumpkin chai scent that comes on for 30 min in the morning and a spiced cider scent that comes on for 30 min at night - gives me just a small sense of serenity in the chaos of this house! I got these hollow silicone teether tubes for Ainsley since she is teething a lot these days. They are super easy for her to hold and they have lots of different sizes of bumps and shapes on them for her gums to enjoy.

I had been looking for a long time for a cute soap dispenser set for our kitchen sink and this plastic and bamboo one was such a great price and i love the look of the fonts they used - looks way more expensive than it was!

We have been loving this toddler hoodie for Ollie - this easy-peasy line of clothing is from Walmart and they have lots of adorable neutral styles and colors and the fabric is such good quality!
